A click is not proof of buying intent
Start with the searches or audiences that brought the visitors. Are they looking for your exact service in a location you can serve? Separate commercial requests from research, job searches and unrelated interpretations of your offer. A high click-through rate can still hide a mismatch.
Check what people see after clicking your ad
The page should deliver what the ad promised. Review the offer, service area, suitability and next action. If an ad describes a specific service but opens a broad homepage, visitors have to find their own route. A focused page can make the decision easier.
Test the enquiry before judging the campaign
Submit a test form on mobile and desktop. Confirm that the enquiry reaches the right inbox or customer management tool, the visitor receives a clear acknowledgement and the tracking records the action once. Do not infer the absence of leads only from an advertising dashboard.
Choose the fix that matches the problem
If the issue is intent, review targeting and search terms. If the journey is unclear, improve the page. If the event is unreliable, repair tracking. Keep a record of changes and review enquiries from suitable potential customers after a suitable observation period. Change the part supported by evidence rather than everything at once.
